ShoeMaker-e, allows you to explore and learn the tools of our 3D design software. Tutorials below allow you to learn how to create a model with step-by-step help. Further tutorials are also available on our Learning Zone.

Installation
- To install the program, download it onto your computer to any convenient location.
- Double click on the installer and follow the instructions.
After you have installed the program:-
- The first time that you run the program, right mouse click on the desktop shortcut created by the installation process and select 'Run as administrator'. (This ensures that Crispin ShoeMaker-e will register the password that you will enter in the next step)
- For other operating systems, double click on the shortcut. When you first run Crispin ShoeMaker-e you will be prompted to enter your unique password for Crispin ShoeMaker-e that you receive via email when you complete the download form.
Getting Started
The browser window in Crispin ShoeMaker-e (Windows->Browser from the View menu) contains a welcome page explaining how to learn Crispin ShoeMaker-e, via a learning assistant, on-line help, and a set of tutorials.
If you are having issues running the tutorials, please download and install the tutorials base files followed by the tutorials.
Minimum Hardware Requirements
- CPU - AMD/Intel 64 bit multi or single core processor with SSE2 instruction set. (i.e. CPU must be less than 5 years old).
- Memory - 3Gb (minimum)
- Graphics - OpenGL 2.1 compliant video card with 128Mb memory. We suggest buying a nVidia discrete card. (i.e. Quadro/GeForce) as We DO NOT recommend ATI.
- Screen - 1280x1024.
- OS - Windows 7, 8 and 10. 64 bit version only.
Importing CAD Models into Crispin ShoeMaker-e
Delcam Exchange, Delcam's integrated file translator will allow you to read CAD models from virtually any source. Download your copy, which is free to use alongside ShoeMaker-e, by visiting www.delcam-exchange.com where you can also view full details of the file types supported. If you do not download Delcam Exchange, you will not be able to import files into ShoeMaker-e.
Exporting Crispin ShoeMaker-e Models to Other Systems
As with import, you first need to download and install Delcam Exchange. Crispin ShoeMaker-e can only export its data to other systems using Delcam's voucher service. When you first try to export a file, a voucher wizard will lead you through the process. The part to be translated remains on your machine and no information that may be confidential is passed to Delcam.
